Our placement

Our placement is just few weeks away. This should be the time when we light fire under our asses and prepare ourselves for the placement, career, corporate life, longer working hours and blah blah.... Is that all we need to do to prepare for the placement season which will only see sales profile coming to our campus !!

Or, can we say that sales and marketing jobs are the only easy jobs for which we are eligible. So in an essence our friends who are capable of doing more than selling have to just accept what they are being offered after assuming that we are just pieces of crap. I see students from other colleges who get better salary than we do here, from the same company which comes to our campus as well. Why that happens ?

Is it like the recruiters know that we have always been given dose of de-motivating speech which makes our self esteem low and makes us ready to accept the jobs given to us with folded hands, head leaned forward in gratitude.

This is time to stand for ourselves and make a collective effort. This will help others, by making their jobs of getting us the job easier.
